The race to qualify

The Weekly Events in the Major’s month pay Major points. The top 16 walk into the Major Qualified: a gold name and a tag on its board. Status, not superpowers: everyone plays the same Major.

  • Integral Day
  • Speed Round
  • Limit Day
  • Chain Rule Day

4 weeklies left to qualify. Each one is announced across the top of the site the day before.

Nobody has points for this Major yet. Its first qualifying weekly hands them out.

How the Majors work

  • The Monthly Major: the last weekend of every month, Friday 14:00 UTC to Sunday 14:00 UTC. Three twists from the Weekly Event at once. December’s is The Asymptote Open instead: all five twists, 24 to 31 December.
  • Your score: play each leg as often as you like. Your best run in each leg is added up. Ties go to whoever completed their total first.
  • Major points: every Weekly Event pays them: 1st 25, 2nd 18, 3rd 15, 4th 12, 5th 10, 6th 8, 7th 6, 8th 4, 9th 2, 10th 1, plus 1 for scoring at all. The top 16 from the month’s weeklies walk into its Major Qualified. Seasons are three months long: a Monthly pays 2× into its season, the Open 3×, and XP adds up to 10 a week.
  • Qualified: a tag and your name in gold on the Monthly’s board. That is all. Same problems, same clock, same strikes as everyone else. The Open has no qualifying at all. Anyone can play a Major and anyone can win one.
  • Prizes: paid automatically shortly after the end, down to 25th place. The winner gets The Silverware, a frame you can only win. Nothing here is for sale.
  • Separate from ranked: Major runs never touch the ranked boards or your daily ranked runs.
