Leagues
Ten players, one week. The top of each group moves up on Monday, and fewer go up the higher you climb.
Every week, ten players, three go up.
Leagues put you in a small group with people at your level. Your points that week are your score. The top of the group is promoted on Monday, the bottom drops down, and it all starts again.
Which means Sunday night usually comes down to a few hundred points between you and somebody you have never met. Climb all ten and you are in Asymptote, where first place each week is champion and there is nowhere left to go.

- Weeks run Monday to Sunday, UTC. Earn any points and you are placed in a group of up to 10 at your tier.
- Your points are your score. Practice runs, the Daily, the hard one, and your first ranked Sprint and first ranked Diverge each day. The same for every account, paid or not.
- The top moves up, the bottom drops. Fewer go up the higher you are: three at the bottom, one near the top. Nobody drops out of Epsilon.
- Too few for a race? Groups under 5 get a points target instead, and nobody drops. That is how the upper leagues work while there are only a few people up there.
- From 19 Oct, thin leagues race together. A league with too few players joins the one below it in a single race, and everyone still moves up or down from their own league. A group of two to four is head to head: only its top moves up, once it reaches the target.
- Ties go to whoever reached the score first.
- First place in Asymptote is champion for the week.
